Be Positive :)

ok the first long Piece of text wasn't really easy to understand at first but the second time I read it I did understood. I know the person who wrote this story wanted to tell you that you have to be positive eventhough there are things that bring you down, and you just have to wait untill the right moment when luck just comes blowing in your face :)
----------------------------------------------------------------------------
I’m an actor, and as an actor I have to be prepared that 80% of the time I will be unemployed. Its a scary fact to face - but I’ve managed to overcome that fact so please don’t let it get you down. Every actor goes through it, and if we didn’t love the job so much then we just wouldn’t put ourselves in this position. All we can do is keep ourselves busy, happy and prepared for anything. So many of my friends have jobs as special needs teachers or waitresses, or front of house staff in theatres… I personally work with children whilst they’re in acting roles or very occasionally work at Heat Towers, which I love. But Actor’s have to be prepared to drop anything we’re doing if our agent calls with an audition or acting job. This also means that most of the time actors are fairly skint as they can’t work a normal 9-5 job (Surprisingly bosses don’t take too kindly to people having to pop out for auditions and such like).
I guess my main reason for writing this is because there are so many people out there who are taking on jobs to keep them going while their main dream comes along. Sometimes it can get depressing, and as you know, I don’t like that feeling as I like to be POSITIVE! I feel that there is no point being negative because you have to tell yourself that this is only a bad spell…. Soon enough the job you’ve been waiting for will come along and EVERYTHING ELSE WILL DISAPPEAR. All the rubbish jobs you’ve had, all the moments of despair, the sleepless nights, all the worry - It’s all vanished in the very second that you succeed. So if all that vanishes so quickly what is the point of all that fear in the first place? Did the nonstop crying for three days help you get that job with the Donmar? Nope!! Did shutting yourself off from those around you, through fear of them seeing you as a failure, help you get that part on Eastenders? NOPE! In fact any friend that you only want to see when you’re doing well is no friend at all! My point is that seeing that those down moments don’t help can in fact HELP! Acknowledge that you’re a little bit sad, a little bit frustrated, yes yes yes…but don’t drown in your own self pity. Because with that attitude you will gain nothing.
So, with this in mind I thought I’d write a little list of SOME of the things I love and that keep me happy, and you know what? Most of them are free…
